Uavend

What we do for them

The general concept of Uavend is to create a leisure accommodation facility on the Isle of Wight.

Monies raised by the Uavend Corporate Bonds will be utilised to develop the Island Harbour Marina on the Isle of Wight. The intention is to develop 95 apartments, including a range of leisure facilities consisting of a spa, children’s play areas and a bistro. The development will be split over a number of phases on the existing working marina, which already houses a restaurant (“The Breeze”), shop, boat repair and chandlery, lock gates and offices.

Set in a beautiful and secluded valley, within a central location, Island Harbour is the perfect base from which to explore the Island and the Solent. Located in navigable water on the river Medina, the marina is approximately 2 miles upstream from Cowes, just past the Folly Reach. As a site of Special Scientific Interest and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the marina is home to many species of birds and wildlife. Meadows and woodland copses slope down to the marina’s edge. There are beautiful riverside and country walks and Newport, the county town of the island, with its abundance of pubs, shops and restaurants, can be easily reached by a pleasant walk or ride along the new riverside cycleway, or by using the river water taxi.

Best Corporate Asset Management partnered with Uavend to support the Group in achieving their overall goal.
